Fichtenberg (dpa / lsw) - In an accident between a minibus and a car near Fichtenberg (Schwäbisch Hall district), seven school children were slightly injured and one woman was seriously injured. The driver of the minibus had probably overlooked a car at a stop and both vehicles collided, the police said on Thursday. The driver of the car was seriously injured and had to be rescued by the fire department. She was taken to the hospital in a rescue helicopter.
The minibus was thrown about 20 meters by the force of the impact and lay on its side. First aiders were able to get the students out of the minibus through the rear door. The driver of the minibus was not injured.
