Bavaria: Motorcyclist dies in a car accident with a vacationing family

Burghausen an der Alz (dpa/lby) - A motorcyclist died in an accident in the Altötting district. The 58-year-old driver came into the opposite lane of the federal highway 20 near Burghausen an der Alz for an unknown reason, as the police announced on Monday. There he collided with the car of a family from Sylt. The 64-year-old driver tried to dodge, but caught the motorcyclist from the side. The Sylt driver and his wife and child, who was in the car, were not injured in the accident on Sunday. The motorcyclist died at the scene from his injuries.
