Güstrow (dpa/mv) - The Wildpark-MV in Güstrow has exceeded the number of 200,000 visitors a year for the first time. On Saturday, wildlife park boss Klaus Tuscher welcomed the visitors celebrating their anniversaries and presented a gift with wildlife park vouchers and surprises for parents and children. "I am very happy to congratulate the Singer family from Rostock, who have been visiting us every year for 13 years," said Tuscher. "We have finally managed to crack this special number. It shows that we are on the right track with our concept and projects."

According to the operator, the aim of the Wildpark-MV is to convey nature experience, education and sensitization of visitors to the beauty and diversity of local nature. You can see wolves, lynxes, brown bears, wild cats, wild boars, fallow deer and owls, among others. The wildlife park also keeps domestic animals, such as cattle, horses, goats, sheep and donkeys.
