Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Judgment on serious child abuse final

Child abuse in the Münster region had spread widely. A man who abused the stepson of the main perpetrator was also identified in Western Pomerania. The Ueckermünder's prison sentence is now final.

Neubrandenburg (dpa / mv) - A 37-year-old man from Ueckermünde (West Pomerania-Greifswald) has to be in prison for eight years and nine months for serious sexual child abuse. The judgment imposed on the man by the Neubrandenburg district court almost a year ago is now final, as a spokesman for the district court said on Tuesday. The Federal Court of Justice decided that. The defense appealed after the conviction. The case is part of the so-called abuse complex in Münster.

According to the district court in the Ueckermünde region, the convict had met the mastermind from Münster, Adrian V., and his stepson several times in 2019. The Ueckermünder had sexually abused the nine-year-old at the time in his apartment and a specially rented holiday apartment. This was also filmed. The men had met in relevant Internet chats.

According to the court, the 37-year-old had denied the abuse despite numerous indications, such as cell phone recordings, through his lawyers and remained silent in the non-public trial. More than a million files containing child pornography were also secured on his computer. The regional court had also ordered that preventive detention for the 37-year-old due to his pedosexual inclinations must be examined before he could be released.

Adrian V. is considered the mastermind behind the complex, which revolves around the rape of children in a gazebo in Münster and other places in Germany. The IT technician was arrested in May 2020 and sentenced to 14 years in prison and subsequent preventive detention in 2021. He is said to have allowed his stepson to be abused by other men for money.
