The new price of the bottle of butane that will come into force next Tuesday will be 12,15 eur , which represents a decrease of 62 cents per bottle (4.86% less) compared to the price of this last two months 12.77 euros.
According to informed sources from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition, this new price is a result of the sharp decline in the prices of the raw material (-16,98%) compared to the two previous months, partially attenuated by the increase in freight costs (+7,86%) and the depreciation of the euro against the dollar (about 0.59%). With this lowering, the bottle together five bimestres to the floor.
With the current formula of fixing the price, the bottle accumulates a decline of 30.5% from march 2015, when it reached a maximum of 17.5 euros. The minimum occurred in July of 2016, when he came down to the 11,27 euros.
The regulated price affects the butane tanks that are most commonly used in the homes, containers with a load equal or superior to eight kilos and less than 20, whose tara more than nine kilos.
If the LPG bottling low priced 4.8%, the piped LPG will go up on Tuesday of 0.7% in the annual cost for an average consumer with respect to prices in force.
This slight increase was due to the increase compared to the previous month of the international prices of propane (+0.1%) and butane (+6.1 per cent) and to the depreciation of the euro against the dollar (by 0.8%), partially offset by the decrease in the cost of the freight (-4%).
