After a serious motorcycle accident: Alex Jolig recovers at home

Alex Jolig has an accident with a motorcycle at an event and is seriously injured. After a few days in a German hospital, he can now return to his adopted home of Mallorca. The "Big Brother" star is especially grateful to his wife Britt for this.

Ten days ago, former "Big Brother" participant Alex Jolig lost control of his motorcycle at an event on the ADAC site of a driving safety center in northern Bavaria. At 35 kilometers per hour he flew over the steering wheel and suffered several broken ribs. He was then treated in a hospital in Germany.

The 59-year-old is finally back on Mallorca to get well in his adopted country. The ex-boyfriend of Jenny Elvers and father of her son Paul documented his transport in a video on Instagram. The text says: "After my motorcycle accident in Germany I'm finally back home. The biggest thank you goes to my wife Britt, who made it all happen. Also a big thank you to everyone else who supported me. At the moment I'm I'm so happy and grateful to be back home."

Jolig made a similar statement in an interview with RTL shortly before the trip. "I very much hope that the return transport will go smoothly and I'm really looking forward to going home. I'm looking forward to my wife Britt, our little zoo and a soy latte on our beautiful terrace," said Jolig there.

The transport to Mallorca was not easy, however, because Jolig had to be transported lying down on the advice of his doctors. Apparently Britt made this possible. "I'm really proud of my wife, together we win every battle," he emphasized again in an interview with the "Bild" newspaper.

But the reality star also has to be treated further on the Balearic island, above all to rule out bleeding from the broken ribs. "Alex clenches his teeth, but he suffers extremely from the pain, can hardly speak, it's all very difficult for him," explains Britt Jolig of her husband's state of health. In order to make it as pleasant as possible for him, she feeds him back to health with "meat and salad".
