Überlingen (dpa/lsw) - Four people were injured when an ambulance collided with a car in the Lake Constance district. The ambulance driver rushed to take a patient who needed resuscitation to the Überlingen hospital. In order to shorten the route, the 31-year-old wanted to take an exit on federal highway 31 in oncoming traffic - the ambulance collided with an oncoming car.
In the accident on Sunday evening, two emergency services in the ambulance and two people in the oncoming car were injured. The patient in the ambulance could not be saved.
