Baden-Württemberg: car collides with horse-drawn carriage: man dies

Rot an der Rot (dpa/lsw) - When a car and a horse-drawn carriage collided in Rot an der Rot in the Biberach district, a man fell off the coach and died. According to police reports, the carriage, which was pulled by two horses, was traveling on a country road on Sunday morning when a car overtook her and collided with the rear of the carriage. As a result of the impact, the carriage veered off to the right into the ditch. The 67-year-old died at the scene of the accident, the police said on Monday. The 57-year-old driver of the carriage and the 43-year-old driver were hospitalized with minor injuries. It was initially unclear why the driver collided with the carriage.
