Baden-Württemberg: Contract extended: Smits stays with SG Bietigheim

Bietigheim (dpa / lsw) - Handball world champion Inger Smits has extended her contract with the Bundesliga leader SG BBM Bietigheim. The Dutchwoman's new working paper runs until June 30, 2024 and includes the option for another season, the club announced on Wednesday. "I feel very comfortable here and believe that we can continue to pursue our ambitious goals next year," said Smits.
