Baden-Württemberg: dog bites 18-year-olds in the face: dog owner drives away

Lauffen am Neckar (dpa/lsw) - A dog bit an 18-year-old in the face in Lauffen am Neckar and the dog owner drove away with the animal - without helping the injured person. The 18-year-old is said to have screamed in pain, the police said on Wednesday. It is therefore likely that the owner noticed the incident on Sunday in the Heilbronn district, the police said. Nevertheless, he left the injured person behind. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The dog owner had parked his car in a parking lot and let the animal run. This ran to the 18-year-old who was sitting on a bench. At first, the dog probably let himself be petted, until he suddenly bit down. The owner then loaded his dog back into the car and drove away. The police are now looking for the unknown.
