Kirchheim unter Teck (dpa / lsw) - A driver died in a head-on collision near Kirchheim unter Teck (Esslingen district). According to the police, the man got into the oncoming lane with his car on a country road on Wednesday for initially unknown reasons and collided with a truck. His car caught fire and the man died at the scene of the accident. The truck driver was slightly injured. There was damage of around 100,000 euros. Because operating fluids ran into the ground, excavation work may be necessary, the police said.
