Baden-Württemberg: Fire causes damage of up to 500,000 euros

Baiersbronn (dpa / lsw) - A fire in a former hotel in Baiersbronn (Freudenstadt district) caused considerable damage. According to initial information from the police, this amounts to up to 500,000 euros. As the police announced on Saturday, the fire broke out on Friday afternoon for an unknown reason. The flames kept flaring up in the roof structure of the building, which is why around 100 emergency services from the surrounding fire brigades were on site until early Saturday morning. No one was injured in the vacant building. The Freudenstadt Criminal Police Office is now investigating the exact cause of the fire.
