Baden-Württemberg: Late autumn at its best: up to 26 degrees expected

Just these days, the golden October lived up to its name. Unusually high temperatures are likely to continue to lure many people outdoors. The weekend should also bring sunshine.

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - With this weather, hardly anyone can complain: With temperatures well above 20 degrees, October is slowly saying goodbye. According to the German weather service, up to 26 degrees are also possible on the Neckar and Rhine this Friday. The weekend also has temperatures above 20 degrees, for example at Lake Constance.

According to the DWD, the temperatures are unusually mild for October. One speaks of this as soon as the 23-degree mark is reached. The reason for this pleasant weather is a high pressure area from the west, which also influences the weather in the southwest. The north of Germany, on the other hand, is more likely to have foggy and cloudy days.

The summery late autumn is expected to last until Monday. From Tuesday, the first thick clouds and rain should arrive.
