Baden-Württemberg: man without a license flees from control: drives into the wall

Göppingen (dpa / lsw) - A man fled in his car from a police checkpoint in Göppingen, drove into a wall and was provisionally arrested. As the police reported on Monday, the 43-year-old did not have a driver's license and did not want to stop when the police wanted to check him. He sped away Sunday night, then lost control of his car and eventually ended up in the property wall. He then got out with his 29-year-old passenger and hid on a neighboring property. The woman was arrested after a few meters, the man was discovered a little later after a tip on the property. It is currently being determined whether he was on drugs. The damage is around 14,000 euros.
