Baden-Württemberg: men's bodies found: police assume crimes

Mannheim (dpa / lsw) - With a flyer, the police in Mannheim are looking for evidence of the death of a 37-year-old man. This was announced by the police and the public prosecutor's office on Saturday. The dead man was found on December 10 in a green area not far from Mannheim's Neckar bank. Because the body of the 37-year-old had injuries, the suspicion of a homicide is being investigated. According to the findings of the autopsy carried out at the beginning of the week, blunt force trauma may have caused the man's death.

As the investigations revealed, the man is a Slovakian national who was dependent on a wheelchair or a walking aid. He had no permanent residence. In the coming days, police forces will be on the move in the Mannheim city area in order to obtain further information from flyers and notices in several languages.
