Karlsruhe (dpa / lsw) - A patrol car collided with a group of wild boars on the A5 near Karlsruhe. As a police spokesman said, the two policewomen in the patrol car were slightly injured in the accident early Wednesday morning.
Four wild boar were killed in the accident, another was injured so badly that police officers shot it with the service pistol. Paramedics took the two police officers to a hospital. According to the spokesman, they were unable to work due to their injuries. The A5 was closed in one direction for around two hours after the accident.
