Eigeltingen (dpa/lsw) - Around 50 police officers continued to search for a missing 21-year-old from Eigeltingen in the Konstanz district on Tuesday. The search operation continued in a forest between Heudorf and Stockach and in a swamp area in Heudorf, as a police spokesman said. Instructions would have led the officials to the areas. A drone and a helicopter were also used, the spokesman said. The young woman has been missing for more than two weeks.
The police do not rule out a violent crime. A 42-year-old acquaintance of the woman was arrested about a week after her disappearance. He is in custody on suspicion of a homicide. According to the information, circumstantial evidence led to the suspect.
