Ammerbuch (dpa / lsw) - Because they are said to have repeatedly stolen from a supermarket in the Tübingen district, the police arrested six suspects. A judge issued pre-trial detention against the alleged gang of thieves, as the police headquarters in Reutlingen and the public prosecutor's office in Tübingen announced on Monday.
According to the information, the men had already been filmed by surveillance cameras during their thefts in a market in Ammerbuch on Monday last week. After a complaint was lodged by the shop, several police officers waited for the suspected thieves last Thursday and caught them red-handed.
Investigations so far have shown that the suspects have been stealing food, household and cosmetic items from the market in the Pfäffingen district almost every day since mid-November. In an apartment in the Böblingen district, where the suspects are said to have lived, the police confiscated extensive stolen goods.
