Baden-Württemberg: transported unrefrigerated meat and fish

Neckarwestheim (dpa / lsw) - A driver transported more than one and a half tons of fresh fish, three deer and 20 geese without cooling. During the check on Autobahn 81 near Neckarwestheim, the officers were met with a strong smell on Tuesday morning, the police said on Wednesday. The 41-year-old driver must have forgotten to turn on the cooling for his load during his last break. However, the food survived the two hours without refrigeration undamaged, as an inspection by the veterinary office showed.
