Baden-Württemberg: Unknown blow up ATM and flee

Kirchheim unter Teck (dpa / lsw) - Unknown people blew up an ATM in a supermarket car park in Kirchheim unter Teck (Esslingen district). The subsequent search for the perpetrators with a helicopter and several patrol cars on Tuesday morning was unsuccessful, said a police spokesman. It was initially unclear how much money they stole and what damage was caused. The police were also unable to provide any information about the explosives. According to initial findings, no one was injured. The ATM was freestanding in the parking lot. A witness heard a bang around 4:30 a.m. and called the police.
