Munich (dpa/lby) - TSV 1860 Munich has found its way back to success with impressive efficiency in the 3rd football league. The “Lions” won 2-0 (1-0) at VfL Osnabrück on Saturday. The strong defender Jesper Verlaat with a header after a corner in the 7th minute and attacker Meris Skenderovic (82nd) after a purposeful counterattack scored the goals for the second in the table.
"We got in very well, but after the 1-0 we lost the thread completely. But we'll take the 2-0 with us," commented goal scorer Verlaat on Magentasport. 1860 coach Michael Köllner and his team also needed a good deal of luck in a number of situations in the stadium on the Bremer Bridge.
