run a.d. Pegnitz (dpa / lby) - Two people were injured in a traffic accident involving two school buses and a car in Lauf an der Pegnitz (Nuremberg Land district) on Wednesday. Both a slightly injured 13-year-old who was on one of the buses and an 18-year-old passenger in the three-person car were taken to hospitals.
In the late afternoon, a school bus with 15 children was on the way on Rudolfshofer Strasse. According to the information, a second bus with 22 children on board was waiting in front of it, which wanted to drive into Nürnberger Straße. According to the police, "probably due to the wintry road conditions" the rear bus could not stop in time and touched the front one. A side window broke, and the flying splinters hit the 13-year-old.
As a result, the bus finally got into traffic on Nürnberger Straße, where it collided with a car. An 18-year-old passenger suffered moderate injuries.
