Bavaria: Batteries in fire detector empty: 90-year-old calls the police

Ansbach (dpa / lby) - Her children didn't want to disturb her, so she called the police: A 90-year-old woman in Ansbach was desperate because of the continuous alarm of her fire alarm. Because it was just before midnight and she didn't want to call the children on Thursday, she reported to the police, investigators said on Friday. They unscrewed the fire alarm. Obviously dead batteries were the cause of the alarm.
