Bavaria: car lands in shopping center: one person injured

Munich (dpa / lby) - A car drove into the Olympia shopping center in Munich on Wednesday. According to the fire department, one person was slightly injured. A photo published by the emergency services on the short message service Twitter shows a car that is demolished on an escalator in the building. Lots of broken glass on the floor. There is no danger, it said. The area had been cordoned off. So far, the police are assuming it was an accident. Further details were not yet known.
