Munich (dpa / lby) - On a Munich construction site, a carpenter was killed by a prefabricated component. As the fire brigade announced on Tuesday, the 40-year-old wanted to set up the components on the first floor of a new building when the accident happened the day before. One of the large and heavy components fell over and buried the man under it.
Colleagues immediately rushed to help the casualty and alerted the rescue workers. The man was taken to a Munich clinic, where the doctors could only determine death. The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
