Neufahrn/Niederbayern (dpa/lby) - Police and rescue workers found the body of a 64-year-old in Lower Bavaria. After initial investigations, it is assumed that his wife of the same age killed the man in Neufahrn (Landshut district), the police said on Thursday. Her son called 911 on Wednesday after his mother told him that she had killed her husband. Investigators suspect a hammer was the murder weapon.
The crime and motive initially remained unclear, according to the police. According to the first information, a decision should be made on Thursday whether the 64-year-old will be taken into custody.
