According to testimonies, the man drove his van into another driver near Baar-Ebenhausen (district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm), the police reported on Thursday. Accordingly, he pressed the headlight flasher several times. When he then immediately switched from the left to the middle lane, another driver had to slam on the brakes on Wednesday evening. Nobody was hurt.
The officials checked the 32-year-old in a nearby parking lot, it was said. A breath test revealed an alcohol level of almost 1.2 per mil and a drug test showed the influence of marijuana. Blood was drawn from him. He now has to answer for endangering road traffic.
