Wiesbaden/Fulda (dpa/lhe) - The Hessentag 2026 in Fulda will take place from June 12th to 21st. The State Chancellery announced the date in Wiesbaden on Thursday. "The Hessentag is our country's showcase for ten days," said the head of the State Chancellery, Axel Wintermeyer.
The East Hessian city should have hosted the state festival last year, but the event was canceled due to the corona pandemic. In April, the city cabinet awarded the contract for the 63rd Hessentag 2026 after its renewed application.
The next Hessentag will take place from 2nd to 11th June 2023 in Pfungstadt. Then comes the Hessentag in Fritzlar from May 24th to June 2nd, 2024 and in Bad Vilbel from June 13th to 25th, 2025.
