Lauf an der Pegnitz (dpa/lby) - A drunk driver caused an accident on the A9 with an injured person. The 40-year-old drove into a car in front of him at high speed near Lauf an der Pegnitz, the police said. The person who caused the accident skidded on Saturday evening and crashed into the concrete wall on the left side of the road. Vehicle parts were distributed across the highway.
The driver of the other car suffered whiplash and received medical attention. The police officers brought the apparently drunk 40-year-old to the station. Here he behaved aggressively towards the officials. A subsequent blood test showed 1.6 per thousand.
