Munich (dpa / lby) - The German Weather Service (DWD) expects heavy thunderstorms, heavy rain and hail in Bavaria at the weekend. According to a spokesman for the DWD, Friday and Sunday are "not without problems".
From Friday afternoon, the weather service warns of thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail and squalls. From the Swabian Jura and the Alps, the thunderstorm moves overnight in the direction of eastern Bavaria. According to the DWD, there are "a few leftovers, but also a short sunny break in some places" on Saturday, before heavy rain and gusty winds are expected again on Sunday.
However, it remains warm: The DWD predicts temperatures of at least 25 degrees across Bavaria on Friday and Sunday. On the Danube, the 30 degrees could also be cracked on Sunday.
