Bavaria: Motorcyclist dies after a collision with an ambulance

Feucht (dpa/lby) - A motorcyclist died in the Nuremberg region in a collision with an ambulance. The 58-year-old was on Friday morning on federal highway 8 from Schwarzenbruck in the direction of Feucht, the police said. When the ambulance came with blue lights and a siren, the driver braked in front of the motorcycle and pulled over to the right. According to the police, the motorcyclist drove into the car, came into oncoming traffic and collided with the ambulance there. He died at the scene of the accident. Other people were not injured. The B8 was completely closed for several hours after the accident.
