Traunstein (dpa / lby) - A motorcyclist drove into a bridge pillar in Traunstein in Upper Bavaria and died. According to initial findings, the 59-year-old veered off the road in a curve on Tuesday and crashed into the pillar of a railway bridge, the police said. A truck driver discovered the man there early in the morning.
Attempts to revive the 59-year-old from the Traunstein district failed. The public prosecutor ordered an expert opinion on the cause of the accident.
