Bavaria: Politician "Derblecken" on the Nockherberg celebrates a new edition

A new Söder double, a woman as chancellor: There are some innovations at the strong beer tasting on the Nockherberg this year. The really crucial thing, however, is that the whole thing takes place again at all.

Munich (dpa/lby) - After a three-year break, the traditional "Derblecken" for politicians, including a Lenten sermon and Singspiel, will take place again this year on Munich's Nockherberg - in front of an audience and again in the usual form. The event was canceled in 2020 due to the corona pandemic, and in 2022 due to the war in Ukraine. And in 2021 there was only a digital version, with the Lenten sermon by cabaret artist Maxi Schafroth.

So now the political celebrities, especially from Bavaria, will gather live again to follow the speech and the Singspiel. Exciting innovations: The actor Thomas Unger ("Tatort", "Garmisch-Cops") takes on the role of the Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) for the first time. And Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) is played by an actress, Nikola Norgauer. The entire event (starting at 7:00 p.m.) will be broadcast live on BR television.
