Traunstein (dpa / lby) - Because of an abandoned suitcase, the police cleared the Traunstein train station on Monday evening and interrupted train traffic for an hour. As the federal police announced on Tuesday, officials noticed an abandoned suitcase. After the owner could not be found, the emergency services closed the station hall and the tracks and brought in an explosives detection dog from the Bavarian state police. According to the information, the dog showed "no danger" - the police opened the suitcase, which turned out to be empty.
Since such cases occur from time to time, the federal police appeal to rail passengers never to leave their own luggage unattended.
