Tutzing (dpa / lby) - In an accident on a slippery road in the Upper Bavarian district of Starnberg, five people were injured, two of them seriously. A 21-year-old came on Sunday in wintry conditions near Tutzing in a bend and then into oncoming traffic, the police said. An oncoming car with three occupants crashed head-on into the young man's skidding car.
The police checked the person who caused the accident to see if he had been drinking alcohol. A police spokesman reported that blood was drawn from him. A preliminary investigation was initiated against the young man for endangering road traffic and negligent bodily harm.
