Garmisch-Partenkirchen (dpa / lby) - After the discovery of a life-threateningly injured young woman in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a suspect is in custody. A judge at the Munich District Court issued an arrest warrant on Wednesday, among other things, on suspicion of attempted murder, the police said. The 28-year-old is now in prison.
The police arrested the man on Tuesday evening after hours of searching after a witness found the seriously injured 21-year-old in the driveway of an apartment building in the morning. According to the police, the young woman was still in mortal danger on Wednesday. Her condition has stabilized, police said. A police spokesman was initially unable to say anything about a possible motive for the act of violence.
