Ruhpolding (dpa / lby) - A 15-year-old with an airsoft gun triggered a major police operation in Ruhpolding (Traunstein district). The teenager was out and about with the pistol in Ruhpolding on Thursday, according to a police statement on Friday. A 42-year-old noticed the 15-year-old and pulled him to the ground. According to the police, the man assumed that the youth was carrying a sharp weapon. There was also a scuffle, with both of them being slightly injured.
The police are now investigating both for dangerous bodily harm and against the young person for an administrative offense under the Weapons Act.
