Billie Eilish in Bonn: A kiss for the Ukrainian flag

At a concert in Bonn, Billie Eilish picks up a Ukrainian flag thrown on the stage and sends a sign of support. The flag was brought by a colleague of the singer from Ukraine.

American singer Billie Eilish has expressed her support for the Ukraine people at the start of a tour of Germany. At the opening concert in Bonn, she was thrown a Ukrainian flag. The 20-year-old took them, unfolded them and kissed the flag. The audience supported her with loud applause.

Jerry Heil, a Ukrainian singer, brought the blue and yellow flag to the concert. She had a ticket for the second fan zone, but thanks to her persistence and with the help of the concert audience, she managed to get further forward and passed the flag to the stage. As Eilish kissed the flag, Jerry Heil exclaimed, "Billy, thank you! Glory to Ukraine!" The singer, who was born near Kyiv, posted a video of this moment on Instagram.

"I managed to pass the flag to Billie Eilish. Friends, thank you so much for supporting Ukraine and for the world to hear and see us again!!! Not without adventures but success!!!! Huuraaaah!", she wrote about it.

The singer also revealed that she wrote on the flag: "Thank you for your strength. Ukraine loves Billy."

It's not the first time Billy Eilish has expressed her support for Ukraine. She dedicated her song "Your Power" to the Ukrainian refugees.
