Her 27-year-old partner is suspected of stabbing her in the shared apartment, according to a statement from the public prosecutor's office and the Münster police. The suspect was arrested. The stab wounds hit vital organs, it said. The 29-year-old underwent emergency surgery in a hospital on Thursday morning.
According to the report, witnesses heard the woman's calls for help and called the police. The man was arrested without resistance. According to the current state of investigation, the two were drunk at the time of the crime, the public prosecutor and the police said.
