Eleven years have passed since Luisa Hartema won the seventh season of "Germany's Next Top Model". She is now 28 - and soon to be a mother too, as she now announces. However, she has not (yet) revealed who the father is.
Model Luisa Hartema is expecting a child. The 28-year-old revealed this with two black and white photos in an Instagram story. In the pictures she can be seen in a cotton bra and trousers. In one of the snapshots, she presents an ultrasound image next to her bare stomach. "Thank you for capturing this beautiful moment," she wrote to the photographer.
Hartema does not give any further details, such as the sex of the baby or his possible name. Her approximately 90,000 followers also learn nothing about who the father of the child is.
This fits in with Hartema's previous dealings with the public, which has only revealed a few private things in the past. In 2018, she revealed that she was in a relationship and that she was already living with her boyfriend. However, she kept his identity a secret. So we don't know whether the father is the same person or whether Hartema has a different partner in the meantime.
But we can at least say one thing with some certainty: Hartema is currently on a skiing holiday in Austria. That is what emerges from another of her current Instagram posts.
Hartema triumphed in 2012 in the seventh season of "Germany's Next Top Model" (GNTM). The East Frisian, who was very shy at the time, made an amazing development on the show. She convinced the jury of moderator Heidi Klum, creative director Thomas Hayo and fashion designer Thomas Rath and ultimately prevailed.
Hartema followed this up with an international modeling career. She was seen in fashion magazines such as "Elle" and "Harper's Bazaar" and became the new advertising face of the luxury brand Escada in 2014.
