Hanover region: Nine people get stuck in the elevator at night

Nine people got stuck in an elevator on Sunday night. The fire brigade rescued the group of young people and adults from the elevator in an apartment building in Laatzen (Hannover region), as a spokesman for the fire brigade announced on Sunday. The lift got stuck at a height of 20 to 30 meters above the ground. Rescue workers pried open the elevator doors. "Then people only had to take one big step out of the elevator," said the spokesman.
