Hesse: 50 kilos of tobacco confiscated in shisha bars

Darmstadt (dpa/lhe) - During an inspection of three shisha bars in Bickenbach and Pfungstadt, more than 50 kilograms of tobacco were confiscated, among other things because of violations of the Tobacco Tax Act. As the police in Darmstadt announced on Monday, 41 people were checked. According to the information, the tax investigation and the trade office also found irregularities during the operation. According to the announcement, criminal charges were filed on suspicion of illegal employment.
