Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - Since the beginning of the school year, the "Advice Center for Youth and Media Hesse" has been the new point of contact for schoolchildren, parents and teachers for all questions about media use. On Monday (11.30 a.m.) Hesse's Digital Minister Kristina Sinemus and Minister of Education Alexander Lorz (both CDU) want to take stock of the work in the first few weeks at a digital press conference.
Among other things, the advice center is intended to counteract the dangers of hate comments, false reports and bullying on social media. For children, for example, there is information on how to defend yourself against cyberbullying and when there is a risk of gambling addiction.
