Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - In a serious collision between two cars in Wiesbaden, six people were injured - several of them seriously. A 24-year-old driver rammed his vehicle from the side at the intersection of Gustav-Stresemann-Ring and Wittelsbacherstrasse on Saturday evening, the police said. The 24-year-old's car overturned as a result of the violent impact. The 24-year-old and the five injured people from the other car were taken to nearby hospitals - one injured person is said to be in a life-threatening condition.
According to previous knowledge, it is assumed that the 24-year-old drove his car at a significantly excessive speed when the traffic light was red, a police spokesman said.
