Offenbach (dpa/lhe) - At the beginning of the week, people in Hesse can expect very mild weather with a mix of fog, sun and clouds. After a foggy start, it will be mostly clear on Monday before heavy clouds gather from the north-west, the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach announced on Sunday. The maximum values are between 20 and 24 degrees, at high altitudes around 18 degrees. In the evening there will also be showers in the far west of the country. Rain is expected from the north-west on Tuesday night, which can also be heavier in the second half of the night. According to the DWD, individual thunderstorms are not excluded.
According to the meteorologists, Tuesday will initially be very cloudy and rainy, with locally heavier showers. In the course of the day there will be loosening from the north, mostly it will remain dry except in the south. The maximum values are between 16 and 20 degrees, at high altitudes around 14 degrees.
