Actor reveals: 'Bill Murray put me in trash cans when I was a kid'

Recently, reports of misconduct by Hollywood star Bill Murray have been piling up. This time colleague Seth Green unpacks: Murray threw him in a trash can when he was nine, says the 48-year-old today. Previously, there had been a kind of power struggle at a show.

Another fellow actor has spoken out with a report of inappropriate behavior by Hollywood star Bill Murray. 48-year-old actor Seth Green told the YouTube show Good Mythical Morning that he was nine when Murray (known from Groundhog Day) approached him backstage on Saturday Night Live grabbed it by the ankles and threw it in a trash can.

The "Austin Powers" actor said he played in a spot on Saturday Night Live at the time. Murray was the show's host that weekend. "[Murray] saw me sitting on the armrest of that chair and was upset that I was sitting in his seat," said Green. "And I said, 'This is absurd. I'm sitting on the armrest of this couch. There's more room on the couch. Please fuck off.' And he said, 'This is my chair'."

Although Green's mother, who was also present, tried to get him to get up, he refused. Rather, he said to Murray, "Are you such an idiot? So rude to tell a nine-year-old to get out of his chair. What kind of power play is this?"

"He grabbed my ankles," Green said. "He dangled me upside down over a garbage can and said, 'The garbage goes in the garbage can'." According to Green, he himself screamed and threw his arms around wildly, claiming that Murray's testicles were also caught. "He dropped me in the bin, the bin tipped over. I was horrified. I ran away, hid under the table in my dressing room and just cried."

Most recently, allegations against Murray, who is now 72, have increased. According to a media report, he is said to have harassed a younger employee on the set of Aziz Ansari's film "Being Mortal". He is also said to have kissed the woman uninvited. Due to the corona protection measures, both would have worn masks at that moment. Murray had defended his actions by saying they were joking. The alleged victim, however, is said to have understood her as "absolutely sexual" and was "horrified" by it. According to the report, Murray and the woman have now reached a financial agreement.

Actress Geena Davis also reported an unpleasant encounter with her colleague in her memoirs "Dying of Politeness". The two worked together on the film "A Crazy Brilliant Coup" in the early 1990s. According to Davis, the first meeting took place in a hotel room. Murray is said to have used a massager on her against her will. During a shoot, he is also said to have yelled at her in front of everyone else present.
