Darmstadt/Frankfurt (dpa/lhe) - In the Rhine-Main area, parts of the Nordwestkreuz near Frankfurt and the Darmstädter Kreuz will be closed to traffic starting next week. The reason for this is construction work, announced the Autobahn GmbH des Bundes on Friday. From Friday, September 9, 9 p.m., it will not be possible to change from the A5 in the direction of Kassel to the A66 in the direction of Frankfurt city center for a week. From September 16th to 19th, the transition from the A5 in the direction of Basel to the A66 in the direction of the city center will be closed.
In addition, from Saturday, September 10, 8 p.m., to Sunday, September 11, 10 a.m., it will no longer be possible to drive on the Autobahn 67 at the Darmstädter Kreuz in the direction of Frankfurt. The following night, the A5 is closed at the Darmstädter Kreuz. The respective diversions will be signposted.
