They are said to have expressed an interest in buying seven kilograms of marijuana at a price of 34,000 euros.

A trial before the Assize Court, which starts at 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday, deals with what happened during the purchase negotiations in a hotel parking lot. The 24 and 26-year-old defendants are said to have threatened prospective buyers with knives. The 25-year-old man later suffered life-threatening lung injuries.
