Hesse: man dies in an accident on a closed road

Weather (dpa/lhe) - A 25-year-old driver collided with a construction site trailer on a closed section of the B252 and died. The man died on Sunday morning at the scene of the accident near the city of Wetter and had to be rescued from his car by the fire department, the police said. The newly built section of the federal road has not yet been opened to traffic. Police suspect the driver had to skirt traffic beacons to get onto the stretch of road. An expert was commissioned by the public prosecutor's office to clarify the course of the accident.
