Hesse: man seriously injured in an accident at work on a construction site

Gernsheim (dpa / lhe) - A man was seriously injured in an accident at work on a construction site in Gernsheim in the Groß-Gerau district. According to initial findings, a concrete slab fell over for an initially unknown reason and hit the 53-year-old worker, the police said on Wednesday. The man from the Bergstraße district was immediately taken to a hospital with a rescue helicopter. The police have started the investigation.
